This week (w/c 16 September), preparations for the transformation of Brighouse Market are being stepped up as work to build the temporary home on Daisy Street Car Park continues.
The Parklets in Bethel Street Car Park have also now closed and are being dismantled before moving to their new homes. In their place during the building of the new Market building will be the contractor’s compound so work can begin on site in the next few weeks.
For the moment, Brighouse Market is open as normal on the existing site. We will keep you updated when the stalls will move across Anchor Bridge.
