‘Brighouse town centre is already a vibrant place. But we know there is so much more we can achieve together.’

Brighouse has been recognised as a place with potential as part of the Government’s Town Fund – one of just 101 areas across England where major investment will fund a series of projects.

Over the next four years, £19.1 million will be spent delivering a series of improvements. These plans were shaped with input from those who live and work here, businesses who invest and build here, and people who visit and spend.

Brighouse town centre is already a vibrant place. But we know there is so much more we can achieve together.

Our aim is to build on the independent shops, events and organisations that are already recognised as some of the best in Yorkshire by improving facilities, refurbishing key locations and creating integrated and sustainable transport links.

We also want to ensure the people who make Brighouse are at the heart of everything we do – celebrating their stories, championing their innovations and ensuring every community has a place as part of a town to be proud of now and for decades to come.
